Photographs on this site are editorial illustrations licensed under the Pexels License, which allows free commercial use and modification without attribution. We credit the photographers as a courtesy and keep the source and license notes for every image in the Media Library.

What the photos are, and are not

  • They illustrate hunting, wildlife and optics in general. They do not show the specific products we discuss unless a caption says so.
  • Brand names or logos that happen to appear in a photograph are incidental and do not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, any brand or person shown.
  • Shortlist cards use a text specification plate instead of a product photograph because manufacturer and retailer product images are not ours to reuse.
